Inaugurato nel 1974 da Pasquale e Lucia Trisorio con una mostra di Dan Flavin, lo Studio Trisorio segue fin da subito tutti i linguaggi dell’arte contemporanea inclusi la fotografia, il video e l’installazione. Sotto la direzione di Laura Trisorio la galleria ha ricevuto un nuovo impulso e sono nate collaborazioni con artisti come Ettore Spalletti, Lawrence Carroll, Rebecca Horn, Daniel Buren, Jan Fabre, Louise Bourgeois, Francesco Arena. Attualmente la galleria ha quattro sedi espositive, a Napoli – in Riviera di Chiaia 215 e in via Carlo Poerio 110 e 116 – e a Capri in via Vittorio Emanuele, 44. Dal 1996 la galleria organizza Artecinema, Festival internazionale di film documentari sull'arte contemporanea che ha luogo ogni anno in ottobre al Teatro San Carlo e al Teatro Augusteo di Napoli.

Inaugurated in 1974 by Pasquale and Lucia Trisorio with a show by Dan Flavin, Studio Trisorio immediately followed all the various languages of contemporary art including photography, video and installation. Under the direction of Laura Trisorio, the gallery experienced a new impulse which gave rise to collaborations with artists such as Ettore Spalletti, Lawrence Carroll, Rebecca Horn, Daniel Buren, Jan Fabre, Louise Bourgeois, Francesco Arena. Currently the gallery has four exhibition venues, three in Naples, the first located at Riviera di Chiaia 215 and the other two at via Carlo Poerio 110 and 116, and the fourth in Capri on via Vittorio Emanuele, 44. Since 1996, the gallery has organized Artecinema, an international festival of documentary films on contemporary art, that takes place every year in October at the San Carlo and Augusteo Theaters in Naples.
